err...memandangkan aku dah dtg balik unimas n berada dlm lab ni, i wud like to write bout my fyp..konon2nye nak amik mood wat fyp yg telah dilupakan sementara waktu utk battle on final exam..

nway, my research basically emphasizes on the study of illustrations by Keith Haring. based on the case study, a new experimental animation in local context will be created. ‘Spread Love’ is the title of this project dat combines different characters and environments to generate a simple yet contains conveyable message animation.

well well well, i will focused on Haring’s illustration and technique in creating a good and simple drawing. in this research, i had analyzed the idea, shape, form and other elements dat being used by Haring in his illustration. from my observation, Haring has an out of the box ideas and styles dat attract people to his artwork. even though he used a very simple line in his illustration, people can understand the message of his illustration easily.

y experimental animation?simple answer: from my observation, animations in Malaysia rarely applied the experimental technique of animation. while commercial animations require high cost and time-consuming. for that reason, i decided to do an experimental animation, that is quite simple but yet understandable and contains conveyable message...err, did u guys know what im talking about?hehe..btw, according to California Institute of the Arts, experimental animation is to explore, develop and refine intellectually demanding, aesthetically progressive concepts and professional practices in personal cinematic art making.....ilmiah nye my entry dis time ye..*sigh*mien jgn jeles k..hehehe!

enuff bout my research..then my outcome for fyp is short experimental animation entittled Spread Love..its a story bout evvie who loves traveling very much. one day, he decided to go back to his own place, Borneoland. on his way back, he reminisce all the sweet memories with all his childhood frens, trixy, cristalle n estrellita. unfortunately, when he arrived, the place and his frens was attacked by mysterious disease. evvie feel so sad and suddenly remembered that he have a power to heal all of his friends. sbenanya, evvie have 3 heart and can save 3 of his frens. but if he used all of his heart, he will die. but evvie din care about his own life. he gave all of his heart to save his frens and finally evvie encountered his own death.
but before his last breath, suddenly trixy appears. trixy only have one heart and gives evvie half of her heart. see..half of heart pun boleh idup juak n evvie recovered and lives a happy life with all of his frens... camya la sinopsis my fyp..got any suggestion, do let me noe yaa.. =)

y snail?i dunno y i choose snail..maybe snail got less exposure than any other animals kot?hehe..sian snail...in order to make dis animation lively, i make snails as my pets..at 1st, i was like..err, hvg snail as pet?no way!huhu..ye la..its a slimy lil things..slimy n sticky...but then i paksakan diri utk kluar mlm2 kat bwh kolej searching 4 snail...luckily it was raining week at dat time, so byk la snail mrayau2..n walla, gotcha snail!

for this stage (pra cipta 1) we only required to do animatic..not yet fully animation ok..well, animatic is a preliminary form of a television commercial consisting of a series of drawings with a voice-over, prepared chiefly for test-marketing...for pra cipta 2 pun still doin animatic but d improved version one...huhu... penat woo wat animatic ni..timing kene betul voice over n sound smua dah ada..shot mesti best..hmmm... *sigh*

huhuhu..best x?i think my project is d easiest 1 if compare to others..i dont wanna take risk by doin 3d animation...plus, en azaini said artwork yg slalu menang award is 2d animation..so y wanna take risk if i can do somthing easier?hehehe...
